According to Cooking Light Magazine, when a dinner guest brings a bottle of wine as a gift, you should open and serve it.
That being said, if you’re bringing a bottle of white as a gift, check out the cool sack wine tote from the Container Store.
You pop it in the freezer -put your bottle in and give both the wine and tote as a gift for your hostess. :)
It is $5.99 and comes in red, blue, green and clear:

This may be my first throw post, but it will definitely NOT be my last! A throw makes a great anytime gift, host / hostess gift, birthday gift, housewarming…it pretty much works for any occasion, and is a great go-to gift. As long as you pick a neutral color, you cannot go wrong. I mean, who doesn’t like snuggling up with a cozy blanket?!
I love checking out throws at all of the usual suspects (pottery barn, crate and barrel, etc) and I came across the Chunky Tassel Throw from West Elm.

The Chunky TasseI Throw is Cotton / Acrylic blend, and is currently on sale for $55!

Ok - I’m not going to get into the Starbucks vs. Dunkin debate…no matter what your preference, this gift rocks (esp if you’re a dunkin mama)! ;)
If you know someone who is a coffee lover, then this is the gift for them! Dunkin’ has an at home subscription plan that makes a GREAT gift! We gave this to my mom a few years ago - and, if you ask her - it’s probably her favorite gift (this even beats out jewelry)!
The subscription starts at 2 months ($38) and goes up to 12 months ($228).
They are also making K-Cups for the Keruig now, but no at home subscription for those (yet).
This makes a great birthday gift, house warming, holiday, or even valentines day (not so romantic - but definitely thoughtful).
This is one gift that keeps on giving - especially for new Mamas! :)

Elenis of NYC make cookies for ALL occasions. House warming, Tea party, Baby shower, Wedding, Birthday, and Get well - just to name a few :) My personal favorite - The Dog Park collection (see below)

They are almost too cute to eat! These were given to me by my husband FROM our dogs for my first “doggie” Mother’s Day.
Cookies are a sweet and delicious way to say I’m thinking about you ;)
Not only do Elenis LOOK good - they are the best butter cookies I have ever had!
This is definitely an all ages gift.
Price: Gift boxes start around $25 +
