I don’t post a lot of recipes, but in some instances I do feel that a food item can be presented as a gift…and…THIS is one of them.
Meet my new obsession: The Swiss Swirl Ice Cream Cake
This gorgeous cake is filled with ice cream, hot fudge, and swiss cake rolls. The recipe says it is quick, but you do need to factor in a bunch of freezer time.
Great gift to bring to a weekend BBQ - it would definitely be the hit of the party! :)

These may look like cute Summery sandals, but they don’t go on your feet, they go in your mouth (because they are made out of CHOCOLATE)!!!!!!!
With our countdown to Mother’s Day under way, these Jacques Torres chocolate shoes are definitely on our LIST! They are $42, and come in milk or dark chocolate.
“Mr. Chocolate” also makes chocolate heels and handbags:

So gorgeous - they are almost too pretty to eat! :)

I LOVE this idea! My friends at Bakerella posted this, and I just HAD to share it!
Layer the ingredients of any cookie recipe in a jar, top with fabric, a bow and a custom-made label, and you’ve got a thoughtful and yummy DIY gift idea!
This makes a great gift for teachers, mothers day, and generally anyone that loves cookies (and isn’t afraid to bake them).
These are called Cowgirl Cookies - they have oats, m&ms and pecans in them. Here is a pic of the final product:

“Ding Dong!” It’s that time of year again -Girl Scout Cookie time!
I am personally a Thin Mint and Samoa lover, but they are all yummy and can make a great gift! This is not your “typical” gift, and since you cannot buy the tasty treats online, you might want to stock up when your little saleswoman arrives.
Girl Scout cookies are perfect to stash away and bring as a fun hostess gift! Trust me - your host / hostess will DEFINITELY have a smile on their face when you show up with a box of hard-to-get goodies :)
GS Cookies are $4 a box and proceeds benefit your local GS troop. To find cookies near you, go to:
