Opening Day!

Spring is in the air!  Today is opening day for many of the MLB teams around the country, so it is only fitting to post a baseball – themed gift idea.

This, however is NOT what you think.  Pictured above are MLB team TEETHERS by one of my favorite brands, chewbeads.

The 100% silicone teething rings are $18.50 and come in 12 different team designs.

Pie of the Month

Who doesn’t like a slice of PIE?! And this being the month of PI (3.14), I thought I would try and find some delicious pie that gets delivered right to your door!

My conclusion:  The Grand Traverse Pie Company.

Established in 1996 in Traverse City, Michigan they will ship their 20+ flavors anywhere in the country.  They also offer personalized pie (happy birthday, I love you, congratulations), and they have a pie-of-the-month club! Shipping one pie is around $40 and 3 months of the pie-of-the-month club is $74.97.

Bonus: I have a friend who lives in Michigan and says the pies are delish!

Spring!

Spring is here, and what better way to celebrate then with a wreath to give as a gift (or make for yourself)!

The wreath pictured above ($58) is from this fabulous Etsy Shop by Renee Morgan – she makes gorgeous wreaths (starting around $35).

Modern Monogram

I love this modern take on the ever-so-popular monogram necklace.

The mini modern initial by Whitley Designs, is a mini version of their popular initial design (which is slightly bigger).

They are $55, come in silver or gold (filled), and you can chose a 16 or 18 inch chain.

Friendship Pouch

I’ve always seen these Feed bags (in stores and online), but it wasn’t until I saw the brand’s creator (Lauren Bush) on TV that I really understood the concept.

FEED Projects’ mission is:  “to create good products that help FEED the world. We do this through the sale of FEED bags, bears, t-shirts, and other accessories by building a set donation into the cost of each product. Thus the impact of each product, signified by a stenciled number, is understandable, tangible, and meaningful.”

Pictured above is the FEED Friendship Pouch.  This adorable pouch has a 10 stenciled on the back – which means for $25 it provides 10 school meals!

I love this concept – give someone an adorable bag (or accessory) while providing meals to those in need all over the world!

Disney Side

We recently returned from an unforgettable Walt Disney World vacation.  This was our son’s first trip to Disney (age 3 and 1/2), and it was so special and exciting for all of us!

While there, I couldn’t help but to do some shopping (and browsing for the blog).  I am a bit mouse-obsessed – we always come home with mugs and frames (and this time a lot more)!  Aside from the usual suspects, I was surprised to see just how far the souvenir selection has come at WDW.  I was even more surprised to learn that you can find some of what they offer in the park online (the Disney Store has an entire section dedicated to Park merchandise).

Here are a few items that I saw while there (that you can purchase online) that are perfect for the Disney lover in your life:

1. Mickey Bottle Topper: this silver Mickey bottle topper is a subtle way to disney up your wine! $11.95

2. Retro Minnie Shirt: comes in a Mickey version too (I bought this one as a gift for myself)! $39.95

3. Alex and Ani Bracelet: the popular jewelry designers are now creating adorable bracelets with a bit of Disney flair! $39.95

4. Golf Hat: lighten up his golf game with some Mickey Cheer! $29.95

5. Baby Minnie: adorable plush minnie with blanket $22.95

6. Mickey Kitchen Caddy: bring some cheer into the kitchen with this adorable utensil holder $29.95
