Hoo HOO

Help little ones tell time with this Owly Clock by Janod.

The front side has moveable hands, and removable pegs, and the back side is a blackboard clock (perfect for quizzing).

I originally saw it on Giggle for $40 – but check it out on Magic Beans – on sale for $27.99!

Hangover Baby

I came across this shirt, and had to post it.

Great last minute Halloween costume / fun gift for your man – especially if he’s a fan of “The Hangover!”

Corky (Fall) Craft

I saw this craft on Pinterest, and I just had to share it! What a fun and easy Fall Craft to do with the kids šŸ™‚

Simply save some wine corks, cut a tree trunk out of construction paper, dip the corks into Fall-inspired paint colors and dot leaves on the tree.

I’m definitely going to try this!

GiftLit

Although most of us do our reading on an ipad or E-reader, I still think when it comes to children’s literature there is nothing better then a book.

Building a child’s collection is now much easier thanks to GIftLit – a fabulous service that offers a book-a-month club chosen by literary experts and broken down by different categories (age, interests, etc).

Three months of books is $57.95, and it is not just for children (they have books for everyone on your list)!

Operation Gratitude

In about a month, we will all have SO much left over Halloween candy, we won’t know what to do with it. Ā I discovered a great way to unload all of the leftovers while giving back to a great cause: Operation Gratitude’s Candy Buy Back Program!

Operation Gratitude sends care packages to our troops – but around Halloween, they help orchestrate a Candy Buy Back Program. Ā Dentists around the Country participate and offer kids money and other prizes in exchange for their left over candy. Ā The candy is then sent in care packages to our troops!

If you’d like to find a dentist in your area that participates, or you would like to learn how to donate, check out their website:
